POST-PRODUCTION BEGINS: "FINISHING SUNSET"

The Production Crew traveled last Tuesday to Los Angeles to start with the develope process and the first moments of the post-production

After picking up the original rolls of "Sunset" (four in total), the crew had an appointment at 6 pm in the company in charge of transfering the telecine. During a session of two hours, the colorist worked with the rolls and for the very first time, the Directors (Carmen Cortés and Pascual Rocamora), the Producer (Pablo Ortega) and the Director of Photography (Luis Ackerman) could see the first results of the shooting.

Their vision in the screen was assured by the colorist, who worked giving the maximum importance to the smallest details. He corrected some frames in order to remove the filters or the boom from the screen and put some touches to the lights of the scenes (so that there is a dominance aspect in the whole project). Everything surrounded by the voice of Bebe, a singer from Extremadura that apparently has fans in Los Angeles as well. After some concerns related to the rolls and the Super16 camera, the crew showed being satisfied with the result

Currently, the image is being sync with the sound and all the footage is being put together (including the shots recorded with a special underwater camera).

Next week, the Film Scoring Department will start working creating the original soundtrack for Sunset.
